As a Language Service Provider, cApStAn specialises in services for which specific expertise is required to make documents “fit for their purpose”:
Linguistic Quality Control includes proofreading, translation audits, harmonization of terminology across documents, expert verification and equivalence checks (in particular for data collection instruments), validation of cultural adaptations, and ad hoc text reviews.
As a complement to its Linguistic Quality Control missions, cApStAn can rely on her sister company Brantra to provide high quality translation services. Brantra has capitalized on cApStAn's experience in managing international multilingual projects and works according to the same quality standards.
Post-editing of raw machine translations (rapid post-editing or full post-editing) so that working papers or discussion memoranda can be available at short notice. Post-editors are trained to differentiate between rapid post-editing and full post-editing: the work is calibrated so that the output will be fit for its purpose.
