Our network
Our network is the extended cApStAn team, a truly global network of linguists and verifiers with the most diverse cultural backgrounds. We meet on a regular basis -- the Video Clips were shot in Istanbul, at a training seminar that coincided with the 10th anniversary of cApStAn, and 70 members of the cApStAn family attended -- and then, equipped with the guidelines, the verifiers of each target language will assess compliance and suitability of the national adaptations of tests and questionnaires.
Returning to the solitude of their respective homes, cApStAn verifiers do not work in isolation: in the working groups of the cApStAn Forum, the team discusses potential linguistic and cultural issues that emerge in translated / adapted versions. The tem remains in contact throughout the verification projects to exchange experiences. And when the time comes to go on holidays, colleagues often travel to one another's country, organise outings together and set up new projects.
